Rockville, VA - August 13, 2007--Debra Ruh, founder and president of TecAccess, an international leader in accessibility solutions, disability staffing, and targeted marketing, will deliver a highly anticipated webinar to the US Business Leadership Network (USBLN) on September 20, 2007. The upcoming speaking engagement, entitled "Hiring Disabled Veterans; Cracking the Code," will detail TecAccess´ award-winning suite of services, including the consultancy´s efforts to provide meaningful training and employment to our nations heroes.
"Our disabled veterans have greatly sacrificed for their country and now face many challenges, including reskilling for new careers," explains Ruh enthusiastically. TecAccess has developed and implemented a nationwide program known as VetAccess for training disabled veterans returning from the Global War on Terror. This program uses Assistive Technology (AT) for one-of-a-kind training opportunities, as evidenced by the recent success of a widely hailed pilot program in the Commonwealth of Virginia known as DVETS.
"TecAccess´ program is unique in that it prepares the disabled veteran to use computer technology at the basic level knowledge workers skills as well as information technology skills and other skills needed by organizations," says Ruh. On September 20, 2007 Ruh will describe this groundbreaking initiative at the USBLN webinar, providing organizations with evidence that hiring disabled veterans can positively effect a company´s bottom line and improve the workforce. To see how this program can help you reach out to disabled veterans and secure outstanding employees, visit USBLN (http://www.usbln.org/) to sign up for the event.
