Rockville, VA - March 28, 2008--
Debra Ruh, founder and President of TecAccess, an international leader in accessibility and workforce solutions, has been named to the prestigious "Federal 100" list by Federal Computer Week. The theme for this year´s Federal 100 awards is "Agents of Change."
"Often the first step toward change is no step at all. It is simply a change in perspective," writes Federal Computer Week. "This year´s list of Federal 100 award winners is packed with individuals who looked at problems in new ways and saw a way forward toward new solutions."
As part of this special report, Federal Computer Week profiles Debra Ruh and other Federal 100 award winners who view challenges from a slightly different perspective than the rest of us.
The Federal 100 awards recognize 100 such people. These are individuals who have strong strategic outlooks but who are also adept tacticians. The list includes top leaders of the community -- both government and industry -- and people who are on the front lines. "All in all, this year´s Federal 100 award winners represent a special breed of visionaries: people who see how to get things done differently," explains Federal Computer Week.
Look for Debra Ruh´s profile, along with other winners, in the March 24 issue of Federal Computer Week and on www.fcw.com. Debra Ruh and members of TecAccess were honored at Federal Computer Week´s VIP Reception and awards gala on March 24, 2008 in Washington, DC. Peter Sagal, host of NPR´s "Wait, Wait. Don´t Tell Me," officiated the festivities.
