Rockville, VA - March 11, 2009 -- TecAccess, the leader in Section 508 and accessibility solutions, has been awarded the 2009 Employer of the Year award by the Virginia Division on Career Development and Transition (VA DCDT).

The Virginia Division on Career Development and Transition (VA DCDT), a division on the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is a membership organization for persons and families interested in career and vocational issues for students with disabilities. The mission, principles and beliefs guide the organization´s work and focus on career development and transition from school to adult life for individuals of all exceptionalities.

The VA DCDT Employer of the Year Award recognizes a business or corporation that has promoted and provided the enhancement and employment of individuals with exceptionalities in order to promote and support their full participation in the community. TecAccess, which hires individuals with disabilities as expert accessibility consultants, will be honored at the annual Virginia Transition Forum and will be featured in VA DCDT quarterly newsletter, Transition Voice.
