J. Saunders Wiggins
CFP
Mr. Wiggins offers over 20 years concentrated experience in developing investment and wealth management strategies for executives, affluent individuals and business retirement plan sponsors. Mr. Wiggins serves as President and CEO of The Actuarial Consulting Group where he directs the operations of the firm and leads the Investment Advisory and Financial Consulting practices.
He is a graduate from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro Bryant School of Business and Economics with a B.S. in Finance, and the Virginia Commonwealth University Center for Corporate Education at the School of Business. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a contributing author and instructor of Continuing Education seminars for CPAs and attorneys.
Paul Wehman
Ph.D.
Paul Wehman, Ph.D., is the Director of the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Workplace Supports. Dr. Wehman is also Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with joint appointments in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and Department of Rehabilitation Counseling. He pioneered the development of supported employment at VCU in the early 1980s and has been heavily involved in the use of supported employment with people who have severe disabilities, such as those with severe mental retardation, brain injury, spinal cord injury or autism.
Additionally, Dr. Wehman is the Director of the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Workplace Supports and Chairman of the Division of Rehabilitation Research. He has written extensively on issues related to transition from school to adulthood and special education as it relates for young adulthood.
He has published over 150 articles, 24 book chapters, and authored or edited 33 books. He is a recipient of the Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation International Awards in Mental Retardation, was a Mary Switzer Fellow for the National Rehabilitation Association in 1985, and has received the Distinguished Service Award from the President´s Committee on Employment for Persons with Disabilities. Dr. Wehman was also recognized as one of the 50 most influential special educators of the millennium by a national survey coordinated by the Remedial and Special Education journal (December, 2000), and recently received the VCU Distinguished Service Award.
Claire Guthrie Gastañaga
Principal and Chief Strategist of CG2 Consulting
Claire Guthrie Gastañaga is the principal and chief strategist of CG2 Consulting, a leading consulting firm specializing business and public policy advocacy for women and minority owned businesses, trade associations, and political campaigns of women candidates.
Ms. Gastañaga is an active member of National Association of Women Business Owners and she is a past president of the Richmond, Virginia chapter and has received NAWBO´s Chapter Public Policy Advocate of the Year award.
Additionally, Ms. Gastañaga served as Virginia´s first woman chief deputy attorney general.
Jim Brady
Mr. Brady has expertise in capital raising, strategy development, sales and marketing as well as general management. Mr. Brady has over twenty years experience in the healthcare, technology and business services sector. Mr. Brady´s experience ranges from venture backed start ups to executive management within large multinational companies.
Mr. Brady was the founder and CEO of Payerpath, Inc. a web based claims management system for healthcare providers and payers. Under Mr. Brady´s leadership, Payerpath grew from a concept to the nation´s largest provider of web based healthcare transactions. In 2006, Payerpath was sold to Misys Healthcare Systems, one of the top 5 healthcare IT companies in North America. After the sale of Payerpath, Mr. Brady served as President of Payerpath, a Misys Company, and on the board of Misys Healthcare Systems as well as on the operating board of its parent company, UK-based Misys plc.
Prior to founding Payerpath, Mr. Brady worked in various leadership roles at National Data Corporation (NDC), Health Communication Services, Inc and Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP). Mr. Brady is a graduate of the University of Richmond.
Satya Rangarajan
Satya Rangarajan, has an impressive track record in management, architecture and implementation planning, software development methodologies, development processes IT strategy/business alignment, best practices, and new product development.
As the former Director Development and Chief Architect for Computer Associates (CA), he managed the web-based application development of the CA Unicenter Database Management Suite comprising of multiple products with multimillion dollar revenues. He has over fifteen years of experience managing and delivering large scale enterprise level development projects utilizing a global development team.
Satya has also served in various management and technical positions with Platinum Technology, Dakota Imaging (WebMD Company), State of Florida, and as a strategic advisor to Gerson Lehrman Group as well as Enlightened Capital.
Randy Wyckoff
Randy has more than thirty-five years of experience in banking, financial services and non-profit management with an extensive background and superior operating results in senior leadership positions, as well as sales and business unit management. Randy´s experience includes directing activities of as many as 550 employees in a business unit with controllable expenses of more than $42MM and non-interest revenue greater than $47MM. He has served as the CEO of the Children´s Museum of Richmond, the Principal of Change Alliance, and the Senior Vice President at Dominion Capital.
Dennis Stone
Dennis Stone draws upon thirty years of sales and marketing experience, plus twenty-two years of experience in the Army in active and reserve components. His business experience includes twenty-five years with Thomson NETg and four years with Control Data Corporation. Dennis was commissioned in the Army after graduation from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Magna Cum Laude. He spent seven years on active duty and fifteen in the reserve Units retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Dennis served in a number of command and staff assignments including Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Special Forces Detachment Commander, Special Forces Company Commander, and Information Systems Officer. Military schooling includes Infantry Officer Basic and Advanced, Airborne, Ranger, Military Mountaineering, Special Forces Officer and Command and General Staff College. Dennis was recently featured in Boomer Life Magazine for his efforts with the successful Veterans with Disabilities training program.
